Deposit & Cancellation

KAR Safaris Deposit and Cancellation Policy  

Multi-Day, Group, or Custom Tours:

At KAR Safaris, all of our tours include items such as; accommodations, snowcoaches, flights, other transportation, etc. arranged by KAR Safaris. These involve costly, non-refundable advance commitments. Because of this, deposits are required for booking. All deposits/payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.  KAR Safaris highly recommends trip insurance for all tours.

Deposit Schedule

50% of the total cost of the trip is due at booking, unless otherwise arranged with KAR Safaris.

100% of total cost of the trip is due 120 days prior to start of a tour.

Cancellation

In the event of an unforeseen circumstance and you need to cancel your trip, KAR Safaris will make an effort to find a replacement for your spot on the trip. If we are able to re-fill your spot, a refund in the amount received from the individual replacing your place will be issued. If we are unable to re-fill your spot, then all deposits/payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. KAR Safaris highly recommends trip insurance for all tours to protect you against unforeseen circumstances.
