Each day on our Muskox Photography Expedition begins with a simple yet hearty breakfast, setting the tone for the adventures that unfold in the untamed landscapes of Nome, Alaska. We will position ourselves to capture muskox at sunrise, bathed in the warm hues of fall.
Our unique approach ensures an intimate experience, free from the hustle and bustle of crowds. Absent are the echoes of other lodges or day-tourists, creating a serene environment for our encounters with the Muskox. With the freedom to explore at our own pace, we'll track these magnificent creatures through the vast Arctic wilderness, witnessing their natural behaviors against the backdrop of pristine landscapes.

Itinerary:
12 Sep: Arrival and Sunset Shoot
Arrive in Nome, Alaska, and settle into our local accommodation. Unwind before venturing out for an evening photography session, capturing the essence of the Arctic twilight. Dinner awaits at a nearby restaurant.
13 - 15 Sep: Muskox Symphony in Fall Splendor
Muskox in fall color, need we say more? We will grab a quick breakfast or bring it on the road as we head out early to capture Muskox in the perfect morning light. From there we will explore the area, searching for different herds of Muskox, willow ptarmigan, fox, bears, and more. Lunch will be provided in the field to ensure we maximize each moment. We will return to Nome in the evening, after the sun has set. With several different directions to explore, each day will be a new adventure.
16 Sep: Farewell Muskox Foray
Conclude the expedition with one last early morning rendezvous with the Muskox. Capture those final moments before bidding farewell to Nome.

We will be waiting to pick you up from the airport upon arrival in Nome.

No problem! They can join us on our daily excursions as they choose. There is so much to see and we will be exploring it all! Alternatively, they can opt to stay at our accommodations and explore Nome on their own.

Due to our remote location, cell phones don’t usually work unless connected to the internet. Part of this experience is being off the grid. WIFI may be available at our accomodations.
