Yellowstone Winter Tours

Day 1: Arrival in Bozeman and Transfer to Gardiner
Meet in Bozeman, MT, where you’ll be picked up and transported to Gardiner, a charming town at Yellowstone's northern entrance. After checking into our hotel, we’ll gather for a welcome dinner to get acquainted, discuss the days ahead.

Days 2-3: Northern Yellowstone Wildlife and Landscape Exploration
Each day, we’ll depart in the pre-dawn hours by private SUV, entering Yellowstone to make the most of the winter light and wildlife activity. Our focus will be on photographing wildlife and capturing sweeping winter scenes across the park’s northern range, including the iconic Lamar Valley. Expect to return to the hotel after dark, making the most of every daylight hour to spot bison, wolves, elk, and more in their natural winter habitats.

Day 4: Northern Range Morning Excursion and Transfer to West Yellowstone
On our final morning in Gardiner, we’ll take one last drive through the northern range of Yellowstone, soaking up the landscape and looking for final photo opportunities with the wildlife here. By midday, we’ll transition to West Yellowstone, checking into our new base for the rest of the tour and preparing for the next part of the adventure.

Days 5-7: Snowcoach Excursions into Yellowstone’s Interior
For the next three days, our private snowcoach will take us into Yellowstone’s wintery heart, offering exclusive access to sites few visitors see this time of year. We’ll photograph world-famous landmarks like the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone and Old Faithful, along with geothermal features and wildlife encounters unique to this part of the park. Each day promises a mix of breathtaking scenery and rare glimpses of Yellowstone’s iconic wildlife.

Day 8: Farewell Breakfast and Return to Bozeman
We’ll wrap up our journey with breakfast at the hotel, before departing for Bozeman. We will say our good-byes, leaving with unforgettable memories and a portfolio of Yellowstone’s winter beauty.
